[rating:82/100]
RAC aka Andre Anjos has quickly become Pretty Much Amazing’s favorite remix artist. With remixes like “Cobrastyle,” “Nude,” and “Just Dance,” you won’t ask me why.  And just last night, Andre tweeted me and told me about the band he’s in, The Pragmatic. Who knew RAC was in a band? I didn’t.

Earlier today, The Pragmatic released their debut EP called Circles. The EP features five robust songs that serve as an excellent teasure for what will surely be a great debut album. One that I am already hotly anticipating, whenever it may come. Karl Kling’s delicate vocals (not unlike Ben Gibbard’s) fits the sometimes-subtle oft-erratic electro arrangements like a glove.

The EP is pretty perfect, really. In just under 20 minutes, the Pragmatic are true to their name, teaching us the beautiful lesson that life’s woes can always, always be danced away.

And they’re doing so, all for free. You can download their 5-track EP for FREE here.

Bonus: The Pragmatic remixed Justice’s “Phantom Part III”

Found out about RAC and The Pragmatic on thesixtyone some months ago, I’ve been loving them ever since.

I agree with Adam, where are the 90210 vs GG posts?

Louis,
As always it’s a pleasure doing business with you. And by “business” I mean you doing leg work and posting great tracks, while I click “download.” and enjoy.

L, Awesome, thank for the link. Very nice stuff. Pragmatic is great, I will definitely be looking out for more of their stuff in the future – hopefully they’ll be more active than the Postal Service has been lately!
Also, the little bit of text you’ve got before the comment section: Thank you guys for the comments last time. I really appreciated your support and opinions. It lets me know that you’re reading and what you’d like to see more of.
Register this as a complaint… It makes your blog sound too commercial and that sounds a bit condescending. Not as it was intended, I know, but every time I see that little red square I grate my teeth and don’t want to comment. I had to, though. This band is too good to show no support!

You’re completely right Bcks, I put that up under a couple of friends’ advisement. Though I haven’t noticed an increase in comment activity.

I just don’t know how to let you guys know that I WANT YOU to comment. I have noticed something though — people tend to comment when they’re pissed. Haha, that’s fun, but not always.. IF YOU LIKE IT! COMMENT! :) That’s a motto I’d like everyone to live by.

As if. Le sigh.

But that red text is def coming down! :D
