The Raveonettes Are In The Building, Hopfully For Good

Make sure to download the newest episode of the pmaCAST: There's Something Living In These Lines, featuring Animal Collective, Vampire Weekend, Cut Copy, Friendly Fires, Freelance Whales, Passion Pit and more.

Like with most UK-based indie bands, us kids in ‘merka have to wait a couple months before it is released here. In the Raveonettes’ Lust Lust Lust case, we have to wait til February! Fortunately the album has surfaced in the UK (and many “file sharing” blogs *nudge nudge wink wink*), and is receiving massive praise. Here’s what all the big kids are saying:

The Raveonettes Are In The Building, Hopfully For Good mp3

“Their most engrossing album to date” 8/10 – NME

“A dark and dirty collection of spanking electro fuzz combined with 50’s surf rock that is, frankly, mindblowing” 9/10 – Rocksound Mag

“A bleak, uncompromising masterpiece, it’s their best yet” 4½/5 –The Fly Magazine

“Lust Lust Lust does the Raveonettes proud” 4/5 – The Guardian

“Their most exciting collection” – The Times

“In a world of pre-packed mush this is brilliantly unforgettable” 4/5 – The Sun

“As magnificent as ever” 4/5 – The Daily Express

Why do I get the feeling Lust Lust Lust might be good? Catch”Aly, Walk With Me” from the album below:
