The opener off of Danish duo ’ forthcoming LP In And Out Of Control is not only worthy of the title but also the exclamation point. “Bang!” is a wonderful, addictive pop song with heart that is a perfect opener for the album.The structure will not surprise most, but the delivery is flawless.

“Bang!” has the effortlessness that a good summer-ending pop song like this needs. The delivery also allows for lines like “The way you kiss keeps me hanging on” and  “You’re as sweet as ice cream” to simply be cute and fun instead of cheesy. After three albums The Raveonettes are still impressively creating great music. In And Out Of Control comes out on October 6th.
