Nah Right reports that the Roots might be ditching the Patrick Stump-fueled “Birthday Girl” as Rising Down‘s first single in favor of the title track itself. “Rising Down” is the collaboration everyone has been waiting for. I definitely prefer this piece of masterwork over the Gym Class Hereo-esque alternative.

I never liked Chrisette Michelle’s voice….it’s that kind of ‘classic’ type voice, like Thea on RZA’s song….can’t stand it.
