mp3: The Virgins – “Flashbacks, Memories and Dreams”

New York post-punk outfit The Virgins are back with news of their first record release since their 2008 self-titled debut LP, and they were cool enough to give everyone a free download of the single, which we are happy to report is excellent. “Flashbacks, Memories and Dreams” feels nuanced, immediately likable and at times a bit like a Mark Knopfler song—which we mean in a very positive way. We’ve already got it on repeat.

The album, Strike Gently, is out March 12 on Cult Records. Stream or download the single here.
