Even though we weren’t entirely impressed with The xx’s debut album, we are not blind to the fact that many of you did like it. Seriously. So I figured you might like to check out some bonus tracks from XX that didn’t make the final cut.

“Do You Mind” is an interesting track that would blend into the album just fine. Actually, I could think of a few tracks off the album that should have been replaced with this. The call-and-answer vocals are fine, but what really gets me is the fantastic percussion on this track. They’re sound echoed and far away, but demand attention and easily get it.

‘Do You Mind’ is a cover of Kyla, which is probably why its not on the album.
