Probably our favorite of all of the Christmas gifts music’s given us this weekend was the xx sharing a new demo, our first taste of what’s to come. The band posted “Open Eyes” on their blog with only this message: “Open eyes is a demo we did whilst creating our new album, we just wanted to share it with you. xx The xx”.
We can’t be sure if we should expect a fully fleshed “Open Eyes” on the band’s new album, presumably due sometime in 2012. For now, you can download it below:
