I’m not always fond of remixes of the xx. They tend to not do the music any justice at all, or worse, they strip the songs of everything that made them great in the first place. This is not the case with Tiga’s delectable reinterpretation of the xx’s “Shelter”. Tiga has laid some really amazing sounding effects over the “Shelter” acapella and sometimes even throws in some impeccably timed and impeccably ominous sonic waves for good measure. This is all we ask for in an xx remix, people. Hear and downoad the remix below:
