Tiga (& Madonna?!) – Shoes (Soulwax Production) via BBC Radio 1

Pete Tong played the new single on his radio show a few nights ago and it’s pretty great. is on the production, so you know it’s great, you don’t have to take my word for it. “Shoes” exactly how should sound like: ridiculously catchy and ruthlessly danceable.

People have been wondering who the female vocalist on the track was, but according Too Many Sebastians, the female voice IS Madonna. Really? Sure, it sounds just like her… but why is her Madgesty singing with Tiga? Is she screwing him too? You’re so bad M.

Take a listen after the jump . Tiga’s Ciao Tiga is 4/20.

Just a note I base my information on a now removed press release from Channel 4 and the fact top secret madonna forums linked to me the second I posted it.

The bit were she says:
“It’s the sound of my shoes”
Sounds like her especially.

Positively not Madonna. Didn’t Junior Vasquez try to pull something similar back in the day? The song is a total mess by the way, I don’t see why on earth Madonna would associate herself with this.

LOL at the notion she has standards.
&
She’s bored of Stuart Price and wants Soulwax to produce her next album.

It’s Tiga’s vocals pitched… not madonna.

the most logic thing i can think about is using nancy whang for the female voice.
her voice sounds different in “get innocuous” and in “ny excuse” just because some filters applied for different vocal levels.
it should be the same for this song.

cheers,

hnmncld.

The way Madonna’s vocals have been pitched of late, would it really even matter if she was singing on her own records?
