When they aren’t touring or becoming mainstream flavors of the month, Passion Pit do enjoy dropping a banger on us every once in a while. Over the last few months Passion Pit has remixed everyone from Freelance Whales to Lady GaGa. Now, Passion Pit have remixed current tour mates Tokyo Police Club.
Their remix of Champ album track “Wait Up (Boots of Danger)” is a whole week’s serving of geek electro ala Max Tundra (coincidentally, Passion Pit have also remixed Max Tundra). It’s goofy in its arrangement, which gives the track a certain endearment that makes the remix totally worth it. Download or stream it below:
