Updated with music video!

In the short period since he’s been releasing music, Chazwick Bundick aka Toro Y Moi has become the leading aficionado of the chillwave movement, thanks to his amiable debut Causers Of This. He also fronted a more disco/house oriented side project under the moniker Les Sins this year with the release of Lina 12”. If that wasn’t enough, the South Carolinian announced a follow up to Causers, Underneath The Pine, which he mentioned will have a bit more ‘bounce’ to it and will be entirely instrumental rather than sample heavy. First single “Still Sound” is a head bumping indicator to that notion, a sunny pop track that still sounds dreamy and muffled, but with a prominent use of keyboards and percussion. Underneath The Pine is out February 22nd via Carpark Records. Listen and download below:

I dig the song, but the video’s freaking me out; I keep thinking he’e Elvin from Cosby.
