Quickly making their way through the widening crevasse that was underground hip-hop, comes teenage Los Angeles  rapper Tyler The Creator and his Odd  Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All (OFWGKTA) crew with their minds deep in the gutter and their mouths spitting out flesh-searing verses.

Tyler The Creator’s alarming mixtape Bastard, starts its 55-minute trek by delivering a handful of Fuck Yous to 2dopeboyz and Nah Right and other prominent hip hop blogs who didn’t post his material, and all “post-Drake cliche” rappers. The vehement 6-minute title track is the longest on the tape, and without a doubt the best introduction to Tyler The Creator anyone would write.

Tyler The Creator – “Bastard”

“I created OF because I feel we’re more talented than 40-year-old rappers talking about Gucci when they have kids they haven’t seen in years, impressing their peers,” raps Tyler before confessing some violently suicidal tendencies, ironic GRAMMY dreams and his complicated relationship with his father. The song then bleeds into the stunning fuck-everybody killer anthem “Seven”.

Tyler The Creator – “Seven”

I’m no hipster, mister. I’m no fucking Kid Cudi.

I was indirectly introduced to Tyler, The Creator’s down-right demonic mixtape, Bastard by Pitchfork creator Ryan Shcreiber over the weekend, which led me to Odd Future’s ever-giving Tumblr page, stocked with an abundance of overdubs and mixtapes and remixes. You can explore OFWGKTA and their online home to find the gems yourself at your own pace, but download Tyler’s Bastard below.
