On this very first “Cousins” remix I’ve come across, Toy Selectah makes the most of Vampire Weekend’s preppy, erratic guitar-work, while giving the Contra single a shore side, rump shakin’ tinge that sits somewhere between Major Lazer and Pitbull (that’s a reference I never thought I’d make in respect to Vampire Weekend).
