Vampire Weekend – Horchata

Vampire Weekend decided to give #musicmonday a spin, so they decided to give away “Horchata” for free. Talk about a band you’d want to have a beer with.

  3. It hasn't really impressed me as a track, but it sounds like it's going to be great when put into the context of the album.

  4. The song is good, actually really good, but it seems like it is just more of the same from them…

    I agree with knatterjack.

I'm a big fan of this one. Definitely an evolved sound but unmistakably VW. Seems like a bit of the Discovery sound made it into this.

Not impressed but the song grows on me.

Not liking the electronics or Ezra's voice in this one. Sorry folks. I'm hoping the other songs from the album will be different.

i was skeptical about contra… but i like this so far- its a little more electronic while still remaining very Vampire Weekendish
