Synth-pop. In theory this idea sounds like a genre that I would not have much interest in. However, Visitor has been able to convince me that I have still yet to figure out. Instead of cringing at the beats, I find my body moving. Instead of blowing off the lyrics, I find myself singing them, possibly too loudly.
The driving force behind both of these songs is the impressive vocals. So impressive that I am lead to believe this band has the opportunity to be big, simply because they have a big sound. With the layers of synth backing up the big, Hot-Fuss-era-Brandon Flowers-esque vocals I can only see their sound going from big to huge. Expect great things to come from Visitor. Check out these two tracks to see why.
