Everyone who leaves negative comments about this song, please write something more affecting. Listen to Justin Vernon’s solo work or DeYarmond Edison and you’ll see that this is all based on pain. But real pain, not that pussy pain everyone says they feel when they breakup with their girlfriend. Pain that sits so deep inside a person that they can’t feel anything else. Vernon brings that human experience to an accessible state…music. This song personifies death, heartbreak, sadness and loneliness. Sorry Kanye didn’t make the beat…
