Wale – Penthouse Anthem

A few minutes after asked the twittersapiens how to upload a song onto zShare, he leaked this new track, “Penthouse Anthem.” Intriguing title? Rolling your eyes? Not just yet. “Penthouse” features laidback beats that reminds you of a — wait for it — cocktail penthouse party. Yeah, I know, terrible joke.

As he went to explain, this song was written in appreciation the beautiful, non-shy women (aka strippers) out there. I guess it goes without saying that every hip hop record needs a track glorifying strippers.

Take a listen.

This one pales in comparison to his older music, hell, it even pales in comparison to the Chiddy Bang track you posted. Sorry Wale, but I’ll be listening to Chillin’ instead.

Hate to correct, but the track’s title is actually an homage to Wale’s favorite strip-joint in DC, “The Penthouse.”
