Weezer Viva La Vida (Coldplay Cover) music mp3 covers I never fully got into Weezer. Believe me, I tried. I’ve had my share of singalongs and even a few attempts at playing some of their songs on guitar. I am, however, a fan of Coldplay, which is why I had to share Weezer’s live cover of “Viva La Vida,” mainly because they don’t ruin it and possibly even do it some justice.

The original is no doubt better, especially since Weezer didn’t really add much to the song, but I could see myself getting pretty happy to have them play this at a show. Sounds like their fans definitely were. Listen/download the cover below:

Their new album sounds like what I expect the Jonas Brothers to sound like in 10 years.

Their Poker Face / Kids cover was way better. Wish they did a cover album of contemporary pop songs.
