Wilco’s “Bull Black Nova” is an awesome single. Even with the electronic blips interspersed the song still manages to sound live if not entirely like a recording of a garage jam session. There’s emotion in the vocals but that emotion doesn’t come at the expense of some fun. The screeching guitars against the mellow beat in the end is pure genius.

“Bull Black Nova” could have sounded like something you would hear at your local Starbucks, but thankfully Tweedy’s skill makes it much more likely to be the soundtrack to your long summer road trip or your rooftop party. Grab it after the jump
