Kendal’s own orchestral pop lovers, Wild Beasts, are experts in crafting the timely and textural, candidly displayed on this year’s smoldering and fragile full length, Smother. The smooth quartet are coming out with a new single for album cornerstone “Reach A Bit Further” and will be backing it with three B-sides, one of which is actually titled “Smother” (how did that not make the final cut?) and also the previously unreleased “Thankless Thing,” which the band is giving away for free.

The new track is slow and dainty, but also moving and arcane, keeping intact the same motifs as Smother. Reach A Bit Further 12″ will be released November 14th via Domino.
