This year’s the 20th anniversary of the Wu-Tang Clan, and they’re celebrating with a family reunion – literally, a “Family Reunion” – that’s the title of the legendary group’s triumphant new single, which the Hot 97 DJ Peter Rosenberg just premiered. We’re loving the track’s slow-burning, jazzy horns and strings: that old-school backbeat gives Ghostface Killa, Method Man, and Masta Killa plenty of space to preside over the whole thing with smart, snappy verses. Hopefully we’ll hear a cleaned-up version of the track soon – in the meantime, this radio rip, though it’s packed with tags, will definitely give you the idea. Check it out.
