“It’s Boring/You Can Live Anywhere You Want” is an 8-minute epic that is bit more fitting of a DFA recording artist. It’s a fuzzy dance-punk gem, this side of Gossip’s Rick Rubin stunt, and one that demands repeated hearkening.
Listening to “It’s Boring/You Can Live Anywhere You Want” as I write this and only one thing is clear. This song is the best LCD Soundsystem song not performed by James Murphy. “It’s Boring/You Can Live…” would have been right at home on Sound of Silver the All My Friends EP (let’s get real here).
Even though this song is having me reach for my LCD Soundsystem records, I applaud YACHT for keeping up with the James Murphy comparison for a bit over 8-minutes without falling flat on their face; a remarkable feat in its own right.

“Summer Song” is just plain fun! “It’s Boring/You Can Live Anywhere You Want” is pretty fucking great.
Totally agree with the LCD Soundsystem comparison.
SummerSongSummerSongSummerSongSummerSongSummerSong!
I do like it, yes I do.
These two sound awesome, but not as awesome as Psychic City (my new favorite song!)… can’t wait for the album.
This is really old. Like mid 2007 old.
It’s off their upcoming album. So it’s new. You heard an early demo
