Ready to feel old? Franz Ferdinand’s still-great breakout single “Take Me Out” came out more than nine and a half years ago. Franz Ferdinand, however, are not feeling old – the Glaswegians are back this year with Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action, their frantic new record that’s now streaming on NPR in advance of its August 27th release date. It’s practically tailor-made to have you up and dancing within three seconds of pressing play – opener “Right Action” is one thing, but the band crank out shimmery, irresistible fist-pumpers from start to finish. Check it out.
