Britney Spears ft. Lil Wayne – Bad Girl (?)

A 3+ minute clip of an alleged track with Lil Wayne titled “Bad Girl” came to my attention thanks to various emails from fans. The track is supposed to be the first single of her upcoming “The Singles Collection” compilation album. The album will hit shelves Nov 21st, but the single will be released on Sept. 21st.

I’m a bit skeptical of this track’s authenticity, but it does sound like Britney… a Britney filtered out of her mind, circa Blackout. A bigger question mark — for me — is Lil Wayne’s verse. Maybe it’s that I haven’t been paying too much attention to Weezy since his Carter 3 album dropped, but his verse sounds like a cheap imitation.

Listen to the clip:

Do you think it’s legit? And if it is, are you happy with the outcome? If this track is, in fact, the real deal… let me be the first to say that it’s pretty damn awful. When I hear about a high-profile collaboration like Lil Wayne and Britney Spears, I expect both parties to bring their A-Game. But maybe that’s too much to ask for.

I don’t think its real. It doesn’t sound like Britney AT ALL. More like Britney Hogan, or some other cheap imitation.

^ Oops. I meant Brooke Hogan.

That can’t be Wayne either.

That is clearly not Lil Wayne…you can tell that within the first 10 seconds. It’s not Spears either, but at least the imitation is better.

This is NOT Britney or Lil Wayne. This is a DEMO. Which was made for them and if both Britney and Lil Wayne like it enough they might record it. For demos they find people that sound like the singers so they can get a better idea of what the final product will be. Hopefully they do this because them together would be amazing! :)

Actually, sure that is Wayne (though I think we can agree that isn’t Britney). Pretty sure I heard his verse on a mixtape a week or so back.

Yeah Em is right. The Lil Wayne part of the song is real and it’s from the Tapemasters Inc’s Tear Drop Tune pt.2 mixtape. I saw it on another site a few weeks ago.

i like how everyone’s like “this isn’t them!!!” but they actually have no idea. I like britbrit a lot, and to be honest, this sounds just like her. Besides, her voice is usually so computer-altered that you can’t really say definitively either way. i have no idea about wayne but Leo and EM seem to think at least his part is legit.

pretty catchy song overall, although it still needs to be polished/have some cosmetic work.

Britney’s new CD is going to be the shit!
So, stop hatting.

&&This DOES NOT sound like her at all.
But Britney has different voices for different songs,
so I guess you never know?
But I like the lyrics to this song.(:

If it is her, I give my Britney props.

If this is legit its just not what i would expect from lil wayne & britney they could have done so much better!! the lil wayne part sounds like they just took a rap and just threw it on the track …. its all just kinda disappointing cause im a huge fans of both and this is just a horrible song :(

Okay ppl keep bashing on this song by britney and lil’ wayne. The reason why people are confused about this song and think its not britney is because fans and people who have listened to her aren’t used to hearing britney doing something that is so close to R&B. Ppl have their opinion on this song yes, however britney does this kind of stuff with her songs and they change the tone in her voice that makes it not sound like her. Listen to unreleased tracks by her and you can tell. I think this is legit and i definitly think it’s britney. Its only my opinion though. That is what i think.

ok if this wasn’t by britney and lil wayne don’t you think whoever made this “demo” would get in a lot of trouble for using them?
