I will forever think of Drake as “Jimmy” from Degrassi: The Next Generation. I can’t help it. When I heard he started a rap career a few years ago I didn’t pay much attention. The only thing that might change my mind would be the support of legitimate artists.Drake has not only done this but he has also brought a king.
“Forever” is a new single for the upcoming Lebron James documentary “More Than A Game”. Drake gets the credit for the song but all four rappers each get a verse in this six minute song. Opening with Drake it is clear that this kid is not original.
He lacks any enticing kind of flow, and he attempts to come through with a delivery resembling Wayne’s without any of Wayne’s success. Kanye follows Drake after a both mediocre and cheese chorus and he doesn’t have much more success than Drake did. This beat doesn’t suit Kanye’s style or flow very well and he would be better suited out of the song entirely.
Wayne and Eminem actually thrive on this track, both of them have great delivery that save the song and seem fitting for a “Lebron James track.” If you want to hear how Eminem sounds lately or hear a good Weezy verse then this song is worth checking out. The real recommendation for this track is the trailer for Lebron’s new movie which actually looks pretty good. Listen to “Forever” here

eminem owns this track. his rhymes are out of everyone else’s league…
I actually thought Weezy’s verse was the worst in this one, but I do agree that Eminem had the best
Eminem’s was easily the superior verse, but really- the true question becomes: who can take “Drake” seriously after Degrassi? Even with huge, legit artists backing his debut- I still think of Aubrey Graham as the black kid in the wheelchair with erectile dysfunction.
“It so goes there.”
i liked drakes hit “you da fuckin best” (lol) and all…. but until he finds a style and flow of his own i will not like him as an artist. hes just a dude that has a hit song to me right now…
how can you haters not like drake? deaf suckas. all of you.
have you people even listened to Drake’s songs? saying he has no flow pshhh fucking stop hating. i mean so what if he played on some gay ass show like degrassi. look at Dr. Dre he was in some corny ass group before NWA so you going to say you can’t take him seriously too? cuz im pretty sure he’s one of the best producers ever and started gangster rap. im not at all saying he’s better than kanye, wayne, or eminem. im just trying to say that people have to start off somewhere, and he’s a whole lot better than other people in the game right now.
I personally think he is no good.
The World Class Wrecking Cru did not have erectile dysfunction. I am pretty sure. Bright colors and makeup, yes. But it was the 80s. And they danced in five part choreographed harmony. I would like to see Jimmy “pop” it.
And thank you Dr. Dre, for providing the world with the beautiful art form of gangsta rap.
Its not like Drake himself actually has fucking erectile disfunction. Im trying to say everyone has to start somewhere its not like you can become a fucking celebrity overnight. he was a young kid who had an opportunity to act and most likely got paid a good amount of money. he has a family background in music also so he was naturally talented. like i said before Dre went from the World Class Wrecking Crew to NWA. why is going from degrassi to rap different?
Acquired traits are not inherited. Genetics 101.
I just don’t like Aubrey. I don’t think he’s any more talented than the next. (by the way- his name is Aubrey)
PS– referring to gangsta rap as an art form was a strategic literary device I employed for emphasis. It’s called sarcasm.
Honestly Eminem is by Far the best rapper ever seen on this earth. He’s a musical genius. His rhymes and flows are out of this world not only he can produce music he can elaborate on a wide variety of topics i think hip hop wont even be here with out Marshal. He is best rapper of all time not Even Jay.Z ,Game,Naz,Lil Wayne,Kanye West, Luderchris , can come close to him .It just comes down to a point where you just have to sit back relax and enjoy music with meaning.
