(Florida, when said really fast without the dash) has broken his own record of weekly digital downloads with his latest, “,” a take on Dead Or Alive’s 1985 hit, “You Spin Me Round (Like A Record).” Well, to be fair, Eminem broke his record first, with last week’s “Crack A Bottle” topping the sales for “Low.” But “Bottle” didn’t come near the download monster that is “,” which sold 636,000 units. Click on for more info about the song and a Youtube video with it!The song happens to be a fun guilty pleasure, the lyrics a little dirtier than that ’85 track:

“From the top of the pole I watch her go down
She got me throwin my money around
Ain’t nothin more beautiful to be found
It’s goin down down.”

AND

“She’s takin my bank roll.
But I’m king golf the club
And I’m wearin the crown
Poppin these bottles
Touchin these models
Watchin they asses go down down.”

It’s a great pop song, with a cameo from Kesha and a sick choice of sampler. Thanks to Billboard for the news. Listen to the song with the vid below:

HORRIBLE song, when I see songs like this shoot to the top of the charts I shudder. Why can’t bands and singers that have FAR more talent get more recognition and success then this clown.

Haha well, I’m not a big fan of mainstream pop music in general…but for me this is one of the more fun, guilty pleasure songs in recent memory. I’m not comparing it to Arcade Fire or Animal Collective or whatever, but PMA followers have a deep love for Kelly Clarkson, Britney, etc…this song kind of follows those lines.

But the fact that Flo Rida sold so many downloads is not a joke, he apparently controls us all.
