Goldroom are one of our favorite new acts around right now (you might remember their set from our SXSW party with Danger Village) so we’re excited about this news – they’ll release an all-new, six-song EP, Embrace, in November. To celebrate and give thanks, they recorded this lovely, shimmery, shouldn’t-work-but-totally-does cover of Elliott Smith’s “St. Ides Heaven.” Quoth Josh Legg: “Elliott Smith is one of my songwriting idols, simple as that. Sometimes I really feel like the emotional songwriting part of music gets a bit lost within the dance music world, which was a big reason I picked this amazing song to cover.” Color us impressed – and excited for the EP. It’s out November 9th.
