Preacher is quite different to the version on the original Mind Chaos – it has stronger guitar licks and electronica than before (and more of a church organ sound, which is, of course, appropriate in relation to its theme). The bridge/chorus has also been re-written. I first heard this version live last week in Bristol and liked it but the original album version also stands up as a classic rock track.

I’ve listened to the entire new album and the previous release by the same name on vinyl. Mind Chaos was released awhile back and this is remixed with new songs on the new record label. The album is excellent and when you see them live they really get the crowd going. I think the best tracks on the album are 3am spanish and too fake.

I’d argue 3 am Spanish is a much better song that you give it credit. I rather enjoy the spitfire lyrics, although I wish they’d stayed with the spacey !!! opening. Its a bit indulgent, but not quite the bore you make it out to be.

I’d already heard and fallen in love with Work and Too Fake but I sincerely thank you for Preacher and it’s catchy as all get out piano that’s jumping all over the chorus and the surprisingly awesome guitar solo. So far, every song I’ve heard from the album (Song Away, Work, Learn to Lose, 3AM Spanish, Too Fake, and Preacher) has been gold and catchy and very dance-to-able, except for, as mentioned here, 3AM Spanish, which actually bores me a little.

Really catchy stuff, listened to all 3 and love them. Stumbled onto this site maybe a month or 2 ago, and about 90% of what gets posted here I love, most of which I’ve never heard of before so its win win. Keep it up!

Preacher is an awesome track, the other 2 I take or leave – both seem forget able & will pass quickly.
