After a demo or two leaking, the first single off Lady GaGa’s The Fame: Monster has finally arrived. “Bad Romance” made its world premiere on BBC Radio 1 just a few hours ago. Luckily we have a high quality mp3 now.
Lady GaGa continues to impress me despite adopting faux accents on her new material. Where “Alejandro” saw a GaGa with a soft Spanish accent, you can hear a slight French accent on “Bad Romance.” In fact, a few lines of the song are actually sung in French.
“Bad Romance” also has a horror side. It’s subtle, but I can already see a “Disturbia”-esque music video in the works. Listen to the new single below:
“Bad Romance” will appear on The Fame: Monster, and 8 track mini-album that will be sold along with GaGa’s released debut, The Fame. The Fame: Monster will be released on November 24th.

Lady gaga is fucking terrrrrrrible. She' an intriguing personality, and a tabloid magazine's dream, but that's it. Why can't anyone else see this?

How can an opinion be wrong? I agree with you about it being an opinion, and that opinions are purely subjective, especially in the world of music. But haven't you realized that no one knows anything about anything? The way I see it isn't necessarily the way you see it, or the way it ought to be seen for that matter. Just because it makes sense in your mind doesn't make it right. The important thing is that our opinions are well thought out. My OPINION is that Lady Gaga is a mediocre musical talent, at best, and that much of her popularity centers around her quirky personality. Does she have a dick? Doesn't she have a dick? If she were musically talented, no one would care about how many dicks she had.

That “is she a man?” bullshit has got absolutely nothing to do with talent or lack thereof. It's got everything to do with hate and ignorance. Every time I hear/read someone saying that I can feel the nastyness of it – no one would say that to someone they knew, or even a regular stranger. It's just that she's famous, fame seems to give people the idea that they can say whatever horrid thing they want to about a person. (For the record – no, there is nothing wrong with being transgendered.) These people are just trying to bring her down, possibly because she's a powerful (and I would say very talented) woman.
Anyway, just my opinion. I thought the rest of what you had to say was well said, and I'd agree with almost all of it (although, to be honest, I still found Dingo's comment really amusing).

listen, shes a music genious. a SONGWRITER!!!!!!!!!! every one of her songs she wrote(very few she co-wrote) with piano!!!!! shes a performer, madonna only better, and a singer. (as hard as it may be to beleive Chis, she sings) she can dance, and if you have EVER senen one of her performances, you`ll know why shes AMAZING and better than you`ll ever be at anything having to do with the arts. shes refreshing, and wether you like it or not, shes the music world`s next real champ. her concert in D.C. sold TOTALLY out in 23 minutes!!!!! a record, also a record?, 4 NO.1 hits from her debut album, the most EVER! she`s also a gay rights activist, winner of 2 grammys, and Many other major music awards. so get used to it Chis, she`s AMAZING.

I am in fucking love with this song! Love the deep voice which is her real raw sound that you hear when she is singing live. This will be here biggest record yet and is a dead cert for no1. Such an incredible song and artist. Surpasses the demo entirely.

I think that Lady Gaga is a charismatic performer as well as a gifted singer/songwriter. It’s easy to get sidetracked by the otherworldly costumes, the heavy maquillage and the controversy she wields like a scepter, but I think this is necessary to some extent: We live in a society where distractions pull at us from all directions. In such a society, an artist needs to have a charisma/persona that gets people’s attention AND the raw talent to back it up. Lady Gaga has both. She is no flash in the pan, no overnight sensation soon to be forgotten. She’s the real deal, no matter what form she happens to take. Bad Romance is a wonderful song and an absolutely fascinating video. I look forward to whatever she has in store for us next.
