From what I have heard it sounds like a great album made by an artist who is making music the way he wants and he is not trying to follow the latest music/industry trend.

Yep, agree here. Sometimes i think like ‘What’s he talkin about Willis?’ but this one seems pretty consistent in it’s message.

Gret review… I have read a whole bunch of reviews of this album that somehow don’t get it. I think this is a very cohesive album, great beats, and Mos Def writing in his own voice and being very comfortable on the tracks. I will forgive the last 2 albums now…

I remember the video where him n some others conversate about MF Doom, He really brings out the realness and soul from mf that most fans overlook. Mos is not a savor but a healer to the hip hop culture.

Altho i have not listened to the whole album i really like ‘auditorium’
(its a recession; wouldn’t mind the hard copy!)
