One of the coolest things about the modern era is that, when your favorite bands are inspired enough after a performance to record a few collaborative covers in a high school gymnasium, one of your favorite internet people might very well be on hand to record the whole thing. Case in point – after a show in Troy, Ohio, Marcus of Mumford and Sons and Justin of the Vaccines recorded versions of Bob Dylan’s “Don’t Think Twice, It’s Alright” and Neil Young’s “Like a Hurricane” in a high school gym at 2am, and the brilliant geniuses behind Daytrotter caught it all on tape. Take a listen if you’ve got a Daytrotter account, or get one for the occasion – we’re particularly partial to that Neil Young cover.
