Yeah, I know… I’m a day late on this, but I only watched this week’s episode last night. Musically, the episode was a winner. It included two of my favorite artists of 2009, indie rock’s cutest duo Matt & Kim and everyone’s French rockers, Phoenix. But what was more exciting was that Sonic Youth made a great cameo on Gossip Girl and not only played at, but MARRIED Lily and Rufus, thanks to a “shady internet service”. I say that is how you soundtrack good TV.

Oh… but I'm really over Phoenix being EVERYWHERE. Go to sleep or something.

Need more less known bands.. or bands that's not so hyped. I always discover new bands when you put these posts up Luis, I really appreciate it! Cool, when searching for The New Cities the second link goes to my buddy Jonas Game :D just because of that: check him out!

I'm just glad Matt & Kim are on here. Phoenix is way overhyped. Good, but over exposed.
