Panic! At The Disco – Oh Glory

have posted a snippet of a new song called “Oh Glory”, restore their exclamation point, and sound a lot like freshman again. It sounds even dancier than their first album. I’ll withhold judgment until I hear the whole song.

Who am I kidding? This sounds like a band that is trying to hard… but that’s all I’m saying. Listen to the new song here.

i’ve listened to it 143 times (almost 144), and the more you listen to it the better it sounds. (:

I’m really frigging excited. I know you liked Pretty Odd but I thought it was desperate, pretentious shite from a pop-rock/emo band trying desperately to gain credibility by trying to be something they were not. I’m glad they seem to be going back to their roots with this next album.

Anyhow, there’s always the other half of the band who will be putting out their own album if you’re into that throw-back indie, beatles-rip-off sound. :)

I’m up to almost 600 listens, and I honestly am not getting sick of it.

I am so glad that Panic! is going back to the A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out sound. I can tell this will, hopefully, be their best album yet.

i listened to the clip and loved it, i was quite upset when the band split and started to read about how the music was ”suffering” it was not suffering all thier music is amazing just because pretty odd was a bit different :)

Amanda, I could not agree with you more. Can’t wait to hear that old Panic! again. They brought back the exclamation point along with there sound.

I absolutely love this song! I prefer some other song of their’s but oh glory is amazing! It’s more A Fever you can’t Sweat out than Pretty.Odd but I’m so excited about their new album, Pretty Awesome! I don’t know if any of you have heard their other new song ‘New Perspective’ but I really think it reflects their break up, but it’s all good! I cried listening to it though, because I just couldnt stop thinking about their split!

I don’t fully agree with you Amanda, I think that both of thier albums were awesome, but I see where you’re coming from. I’m sure that Ryan and Jon’s new band isn’t going to be a rip-off from the sound of The Beatles even though they are huge fans of that group. I’m sad they split but I’m sure that both bands can come up with something individually amazing!

I don’t see why you’re all putting Pretty.Odd down it was a great album and Panic! were just trying something new, even though I’m glad they went back to the sound of their 1st album, I still love Pretty.Odd and I totally agree with you Becky Jarvis!
