Still making hay out of their 2010 self-titled record, Ethan Kath and Alice Glass of lent the video treatment to yet another single from their sophomore album, “Suffocation.” The clip, directed by Kath, starring Glass, and shot on the grounds of an abandoned mansion in New York City, might just be an excuse to show off Glass’s cool outfits, but it also works as a pretty perfect visualization of Crystal Castles’ sharp, clinical M.O. Glass, alternately in majestic black lace and leather and hospital gowns, effortlessly plays the creepy house’s just-as-creepy mistress. The band’s third record is yet to be titled, but will reportedly drop this summer.
