Enigmatic and sensual LA outfit Rhye are pushing “The Fall” for all it’s worth, and it’s worth quite a bit. “The Fall,” like we said earlier today in our Tracking column, is arresting and intimate in a way Rhye has obviously mastered. Today, the song’s hypnotic vocals and inherent funk are expounded and amplified in Maurice Fulton’s remix. Fulton has essentially transformed “The Fall” into a funky jam session harmlessly haunted by Rhye’s floating voice begging the subject to “make love to me.”
