A while back, then girl-boy It-duo Cults was planning to release a mixtape featuring rapper remixed versions of tracks from their self-titled album. While we did get a new version of “Bad Things” with Freddie Gibbs, the mixtape never quite came to fruition.
Now, about a year later, new girl-boy It-duo Purity Ring have randomly dropped a new version of “Belispeak,” featuring the unmistakable, autotuned flow of Danny Brown. We’re sure there’s no connection.
