What did we say about 2013 being the year of the Rhye remix? Here’s another take on “Open,” courtesy the much-hyped Canadian producer Ryan Hemsworth. We love Ryan’s taste for hazy, heavy bass drones and excellently-integrated vocal samples, so it’s no surprise this remix works so well – “Open” sounds great with a little more thump and syncopation, but nothing can detract from its sexy, slow-burning drive.
