About five months ago, I posted this Justice Remix of the Arctic Monkeys’ “When I Sun Goes Down”. It somehow found its way into my inbox, a little bit after the major wave of D.A.N.C.E.H.Y.P.E. died down (and its still dying!). Now, from the get-go, the remix was pretty weak and vaguely resembled anything to spawn from the French duo, nonetheless I posted to remix to one of my random remix collection posts. Out of the blue, it became some kind of hype machine phenomenon — sparking tons of backlash. I failed to ever give a comment, but basically, my suspicions were solidified. And a little LOL, I was even Gutted by Check The Availability. Basically the track is mash-up, by whom, I don’t know, but these are the songs that make up this mini-blog phenom

So maybe this will set the record straight? It just makes me sad seeing this remix pop up a few times in blogs and in forums causing unwanted amounts of confusion and anger.

’cause i don’t find it that great and i’m a BIG AM/Justice fan so… i expected more from a Justice remix…
Its a mashup, justice had nothing to do with it. at least not the frenchies everyone loves

Whoever made this mashup is a marketing smart.
I think whoever labelled it as a ‘Justice’ remix and then stuck it on their blog…twice…is the smart one.
