The passing of the definitive music legend will always be a sad day in music’s history. Throw on Thriller or HIStory and never forget the great man and great artist that Michael Jackson was.

  1. He is an inspiration to every artist of every genre. Every artist I know, especially dance one’s like me. His contribution to entertainment will be forever remembered, and it is only a shame he was never as happy as his music made others.

    Go to any foreign country and while you’re trying to communicate with the locals, mention Michael Jackson. Chances are, their faces will light up with excitement that they’ve found something you have in common with them.

    He’s the only person I can think of, from his time, who is a household name in nearly every corner of the world.
