RIP: Michael Jackson music aside

Michael Jackson. August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009
The passing of the definitive music legend will always be a sad day in music’s history. Throw on Thriller or HIStory and never forget the great man and great artist that Michael Jackson was.

To people born in the 70s 80s and early 90s. The most famous person in our lives died today. That is an unbelievable thought.

To most people born in the 70s and 80s, the most famous person in their lives died today. And especially if they’re not from America…

So yeah, that statement is towards the truer end.

RIP MIchael Jackson…and thanks for the music

Ummm… hardly.

Go to any foreign country and while you’re trying to communicate with the locals, mention Michael Jackson. Chances are, their faces will light up with excitement that they’ve found something you have in common with them.

He’s the only person I can think of, from his time, who is a household name in nearly every corner of the world.

He is an inspiration to every artist of every genre. Every artist I know, especially dance one’s like me. His contribution to entertainment will be forever remembered, and it is only a shame he was never as happy as his music made others.
