Thanks to a loyal readyer, Kavinsky_69, for sending the YouTube link to 10 minutes worth of new Daft Punk material for the upcoming film Tron: Legacy. Earlier this week, 6 tracks from Tron: Legacy‘s score hit the internet. This new 10 minute does not feature score tracks but tunes that Daft Punk created for Tron‘s brightly colored, slick Sci-Fi world and it sounds very much like DP’s Discovery days. Of course, the subject of legitimacy is once again at the forefront, but the clip does sound promising. Time will tell if this is real or not.  Listen to the 10 minute clip below:

The Tron: Legacy soundtrack is due out November 26th (separate from the “score” album).

if you cant tell that these are fake youre reatarded. there is one real track in all of this. why would they use the saem chord progression for hard better faster stronger over and over again? plus if you have half a brain none of the production techniques reflect anything the duo have done seperately or together not to mention it all sounds fake aside from the one track from comicon last year that whoever made this threw in a sped up for good measure

Fake. Fake. Fake.

Sonically inferior. Derivative of earlier works.

Real deal is much more innovative:

It’s a shame you don’t have a donate button! I’d without a doubt donate to this brilliant blog! I suppose for now i’ll settle for book-marking and adding your RSS feed to my Google account. I look forward to brand new updates and will share this site with my Facebook group. Talk soon!

Hi would you mind sharing which blog platform you’re working with? I’m looking to start my own blog soon but I’m having a hard time making a decision between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your layout seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something completely unique. P.S Sorry for getting off-topic but I had to ask!
