No, this is not a remake of “Grease Lightning.” If you recall, we’ve posted a few tracks from Pittsburgh’s own 1,2,3, most recently the first track from their forthcoming debut proper, “Riding Coach.” The duo of Nic Synder and Josh Sickels have just put out a new track called, “Heat Lightning” which is for the most part, a chilled out lo-fi jam, though it does get heavy halfway through, seemingly out of nowhere. There is a wad of glam rock appeal in this, just from the sensual vocals alone, and the cooling whistles, distant synths and acoustic chords make it another impressive cut from the young band.
