Remember way back when (on 4/20 to be exact), when we talked about how The Flaming Lips released new music in the most unorthodox fashion, putting a USB key with brand new songs in the center of a seven-pound skull made entirely out of gummy material? So what’s next you ask? Releasing music in a gummy fetus. The weird art rock collective, lead by Oklahoma’s own Wayne Coyne, included three previously unreleased ditties on the brand new USB key, all of which are either heavily distorted, gradual and ambient, and always lacking in any chorus or standard musical structure of any kind. You really can’t expect anything less from these guys; check out the tunes below, and get the gummy fetus if you can.
