You’re reading this right: here’s Aaliyah’s new single, “Enough Said,” which features Drake. Yep, it’s the same Aaliyah who died in a tragic plane crash about eleven years ago – upcoming is a second posthumous record from the famed R&B singer, and it’s been long rumored that superfan Drake (who has a tattoo of Aaliyah’s face on his back) might produce some tracks using vocals from demos recorded before Aaliyah’s untimely death. “Enough Said” is produced by Noah Shebib, but does feature a verse and plenty of hyping “wassups” from Drake; the best thing about it, of course, is Aaliyah’s vocals. Though her singing is borrowed from decade-plus old demos, she sounds pristine, beautiful, and completely modern. Check it out.
