New Animal Collective: “Honeycomb” & “Gotham”

Animal Collective just posted two new songs on their website called “Honeycomb” and “Gotham” (the latter probably won’t be used in the upcoming Dark Knight Rises soundtrack.) The band is expected to release an album this year, their long awaited follow-up to 2009’s peerless Merriweather Post Pavilion, and these two songs are our first taste of any recorded new AnCo music since their really great Fall Be Kind EP.

The songs will be released on a 7″ single on June 26 through Domino Records, but they’re available on iTunes now. Listen to them below:
