Big K.R.I.T. – “Dreamin'”

You gotta love it when real artists who struggle so hard are able to see their dreams come true. Mississippi’s own Big K.R.I.T. struck a chord in fans last year with his K.R.I.T. Wuz Here mixtape, rhyming about his grandma and his upbringing on poignant tracks like “Hometown Hero” and “Neva Go Back.” Now the recent Def Jam signee has released the first cut from his forthcoming proper, ReturnOf4Eva, in the form of “Dreamin,” which he of course produced himself. Lyrically, it’s everything we’ve expected and more: “I ain’t rhyming about dope nor did I sell it, I guess the story of a country boy just ain’t compelling.” K.R.I.T. uploaded the tune on his website, stating, “I feel this is a perfect representation of my music at this exact moment in time because it could have gone either way for me. This was all a dream a year ago. Now i am living out my dreams everyday.”

We’re happy for you K.R.I.T. ReturnOf4Eva is going to be wonderful.
