Legendary Seattle label Sub Pop have a great and diverse roster right now, and they’re celebrating Record Store Day (this Saturday!) by sharing new material and deep cuts from some of their best artists via an epic compilation, “Please to Enjoy,” available only at your favorite neighborhood record store.
Blitzen Trapper’s offering is the sub-two-minute “Maybe Baby,” a short and sweet pop nugget that consolidates the band’s characteristic twangy vocals and catchy guitar work into a neat, head-nodding, toe-tapping package that’s perfect for summer. It’s over before you know it, but that just makes it easier to replay infinity times. Check out “Maybe Baby” below, and stay tuned for more tracks from “Please to Enjoy.”
