Every now and then we all need a little positivity in the form of a song from Cee Lo Green – to get our minds on point – for at least a minute or two.

The former Goodie Mob rapper does an excellent job at showing off his vocal abilities as he gives us some of his most thought provoking and poignant lyrics in the song “Bridges”. The 70’s style track was perfectly produced by The Neptunes (is that Pharrell on the background vocals?) and it has the right amount of appeal to ‘bridge’ the gap between both older and younger music fans in need of some quality tunes. In other words, it’s a great song for everyone.

“Bridges”, was actually left off of Cee-Lo’s album The Lady Killer, but the summery-single can now be found as the B-Side on his latest EP It’s OK.

Charlotte Aitchison’s second LP is a warhead, a sonic sour bomb that conceals sneering attitude and caustic kiss-offs beneath an initially shimmering pop sheen.
