LA four piece Francisco The Man remind us of Free Energy, except they wear the pop punk getup a little looser. “In the Corners” feels sincere and is instantly likable, demanding a replay as soon as its four minutes run out.

It’s the first single from their forthcoming EP of the same name, which will be out February 19 on Small Plates.
