“Pacing” sounds like a song that could do an excellent job of soundtracking a well-shot documentary about life in Mariana Trench. The piano and abstract vocals are soothing and enchanting, and seem to take me deeper into their world each time I play the song. More mundanely, it is the title track off an EP Julianna Barwick is putting out March 5 on Suicide Squeeze Records.
