London Grammar have an air of restrained strength that puts me in mind of their fellow Brits, Adele and The xx. The guitars are quiet, the drums gently reverbed, and the singer’s voice is classically beautiful. There’s not much info out there on these guys, other than that they are a “London Trio,” but “Hey Now” does enough work in 3:27 to make us very curious to hear what the rest of their catalogue sounds like. If the rest of it’s like this track, look for these guys to make noise in 2013.

Also check out this live recording of them playing another one of their songs, “We’re All Here,” for AOL’s 1TakeTV from the spring of this year, which seems to have once existed on their Soundcloud, but no longer does.
